AboitizPower Named Best Stakeholder by DepEd Region III

AboitizPower private limited partnerships GNPower Mariveles Energy Center (GMEC) and GNPower Dinginin (GNPD) received a Plaque of Recognition as Best Stakeholder from the Department of Education (DepEd) Region III – Central Luzon on January 27, 2026, at Hacienda Gracia Hotel and Resort, during the agency’s Regional Stakeholders’ Appreciation Program with the theme “Strong Collaboration Creates High Impact and Progress.”
The recognition affirms GMEC and GNPD’s continued support and meaningful contributions to DepEd Region III. This follows the company’s Best Stakeholder award from the DepEd Bataan Division last October 28, highlighting its consistent partnership with the education sector.
The award was received in the presence of Dr. Carolina Violeta, EdD, CESO V, Bataan Schools Division Superintendent. Representing AboitizPower were Andrea Mellind Madrid, GMEC|GNPD Vice President for Corporate Services; Joseph Paolo Mendoza, GMEC|GNPD RSM Manager; and Abigail Jacinto, GMEC|GNPD RSM Program Senior Specialist.
